The Cannon Valley Trail is owned and operated by the Cities of Cannon Falls, Red Wing and Goodhue County. We are NOT a state trail as most other trails within Minnesota.
The majority of the funding for maintenance and improvements to the CVT come from wheel pass fees and private donations from our friends and supporters. A portion is provided by the governing cities/county.
We depend people like you, who enjoy the trail, to continue to support our mission of providing a premier recreational trail experience through the scenic lower Cannon River Valley.
